With my two New Zealand shows now behind me, I am looking towards the US shows coming up soon. First up is "Rude, Glued and Screwed" in San Francisco on 22 November (the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination). I have a dozen of my best prints in this show, which is a great way to showcase my very best work. If you or anyone you know lives in San Francisco, don't miss this one-night-only show!
And on 3 December I will be flying to Portland Oregon to attend the opening of the "Masters Of The Glue-niverse" show with Marty Gordon.
I am extremely excited about these shows, travelling to the US to show my art is dream come true!

The second half of this year is going to be busy busy busy! I have no less than FOUR exhibitions coming up! First up is a solo show in September, at the Dunedin Comic Collective in Port Chalmers. Exact dates and hours to be advised. Working title is "Fiendish Comix" - I have created 16 small pieces on canvas for this show. Victorian etchings on painted canvas, with speech bubbles from 1950s horror comics.

In October or November I will be part of an as-yet-untitled group show with some other talented Dunedin artists. More details coming soon. I have created a number of new pieces for this show and have plans for more.

Also in November, I will be having some prints included in what will be the most important show of my career to date: I will be showing with the legendary ! He has invited me to send him some of my prints for a show with himself and French surrealist at his studio in San Francisco.
Winston Smith is my greatest influence, his work has graced album covers for the likes of Green Day, Ben Harper, Dead Kennedys and dozens more. He has created illustrations for Playboy and the New Yorker. Exhibiting with him is a dream come true!

In December I will be travelling to the US for a show in Portland, Oregon. My great friend and fellow collage artist runs a gallery there and has invited me to show my work, along with Seattle collage artist . Due to size restrictions I will be showing work on paper rather than on canvas - a selection of my best work from the last 20+ years.
