This is a first for me - a self-portrait! Here I am having a brilliant idea for a collage, assisted by a faithful cat and inspired by a beautiful sunset. The planets and dials represent circumstances - when everything is set just right, when the planets are aligned just right, a brilliant idea will hit, fully-formed, from out of the blue.
I love that feeling more than almost anything else in the world.
